So I've been to 'The Girls' a musical written by Bae & Tim Firth twice. At first I only had a ticket for the 15th, which I bought together with the lovely Yasmin (she's from Manchester) and Kat (she's an hungarian living in Scotland). But then everyone went crazy about the 'press night' on the 12th and I bought a last minute ticket to that show then waited with the other fans at the stage door for Gary to arrive in his Mercedes.

The musical is brilliant, it's funny, sad and made me very emotonial, the set was so pretty, the cast were very talented singers and the songs and melodies are written by a musical genius and you could definetely hear that..!

And the story behind it is just so inspiring & moving. #sunflower

I hope they raise a few more millions of pounds and that they hopefully inspire more people. It's a must see if you can make it to Salford. It's not only for Gary fans, really.

The recorded history of Manchester began with the civilian settlement associated with the Roman fort of Mamucium or Mancunium, which was established in about 79 AD on a sandstone bluff near the confluence of the rivers Medlock and Irwell.

In Salford I had a very cosy room in Sue's and Murat's home in 'Sandy Wood', their house is such a lovely place, I found them on airbnb, and I recommend it to everyone. It's just a way better experience than any hotel could ever be, and it's so cheap, and you never feel lonely, and they always offer you help if you ever needed some advices, locals always know better.

Manchester is a major city in the northwest of England with a rich industrial heritage. The Castlefield Conservation Area’s 18th-century canal system harks back to the city’s days as a textile powerhouse, and you can trace this history at the interactive Museum of Science & Industry. The revitalised Salford Quays dockyards now houses the Daniel Libeskind-designed Imperial War Museum North and The Lowry cultural centre.
